New Work! New Show! Come see? Peninsula Art League’s 14th annual Open Juried Show opens Sept. 9th at the Harbor History Museum in Gig Harbor, WA. My mixed media painting, Weather the Storm, and photo, Good Night at the Gorge, will be on the wall. “The show runs through Oct. 30 and will showcase paintings and sculpture by 52 fine artists from as far away as Illinois and New York. Admission is free on Oct. 1 and PAL docents will give free guided tours of the exhibit from 1-5pm

I took the pups for a walk this morning. It was gorgeous out and there was still a lot of fog in the Narrows. In our neighborhood there’s a vacant lot, which is the only spot of unspoiled nature within walking distance. It’s on a cliff, and one of the realtors that has tried selling it built a viewing platform. I decided to climb it and take a few photos with my phone. The dogs tried to follow. That didn’t work out so well. I climbed down thinking I was finished and hiked bac
