They are finally going up! My macro photos of water during the 2017 Great American Solar Eclipse will be on permanent display on the South Tacoma Water Pumphouse (S 62nd and S Clement St). If you look closely, you can see the shadow of the eclipsed sun in the water droplets. After all the panels are installed by Signarama, it will appear as if the building is full of splashing water, playfully contextualizing the space and giving a nod to our dependence on often overlooked city systems.

“Flow” is part of the Water Flume Line Trail collaboration with Clark Wiegman/Artifact and the City of Tacoma.
