Massive ‘murmuration’ of starlings in Israel’s skies
To put it bluntly, Starlings are not my favorite. They move in on all my native birdies and gobble up their food, and they’re very noisy. However, I’m told, they have an amazingly, complex language. And they do this (see above). Maybe you’ve seen the videos before. But did you know it was called, ‘murmuration’? Yeah. Now I really love it. Murmuration. Mmmm. Now that’s a word!
